Professional Learning
Learning designed for school leaders and their teams
Alongside 1:1 mentoring and coaching, I design and present two workshop programs for schools. Sessions are shaped around where your leaders actually are, and can be held during or after school hours.
Mentoring and coaching, 1:1
- —Ongoing sessions, for example twice a term, across the year.
- —Or an agreed set of sessions over an agreed period, with a clear focus.
- —Online or in person — your decision.
Workshop program one
Leading Learning: Learning Leading
Professional learning for middle and aspiring leaders. A two-part program (2 × 2 hours), presented during or after school hours.
- ·Leadership — the big picture: domains, capabilities and dispositions
- ·What type of leader do I strive to be?
- ·Emotional intelligence: the essential ingredient
- ·My 168 hours — the things that matter most
- ·How sharp is my saw? Prioritising and time management
Workshop program two
Leading (and living) with Emotional Intelligence
A half-day workshop for school leadership teams.
Learning intentions
- ·Enhance your knowledge and understanding of emotional intelligence (EI) and its crucial role in successful leadership.
- ·Investigate the impact emotions and perceptions have on your role as a leader.
- ·Explore and develop self-awareness as the foundation of your EI.
- ·Connect EI to your personal leadership and to the current school theme.
- ·Self-evaluate your level of EI across the six Genos competencies, and frame a personal EI goal for an agreed timespan.
